Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Sales Consultant to join our Fire business unit in the Boston, MA territory.
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Bid Market Account Executive to join our team at Pavion. As a Bid Market Account Executive, you will manage an assigned geographic sales territory for the purpose of selling AFA products and services to electrical contractors while promoting AFA products to electrical engineers and general contractors.
You will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward by connecting with existing and potential clients, providing them with tailored fire, security, and integration solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive sales of test and inspection services, monitoring contracts, and other offerings within the assigned territory.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Territory Management
Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to secure renewals and expand services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, proposals, and contract negotiations.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Contract & Proposal Management
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely proposals and pricing for services.
Negotiate terms and close sales in accordance with company policies and profitability guidelines.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with operations, service, and administrative teams to ensure smooth onboarding and fulfillment of contracts.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership.
Market Intelligence
Stay informed on competitor offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
Provide feedback to leadership on market conditions, customer needs, and service improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
3+ years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in fire/life safety, security, or related service industries
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience selling service contracts, inspections, and/or monitoring agreements highly preferred
Strong prospecting and business development skills with the ability to generate and close new business
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of initiative
Customer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset
Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Ability to pass background checks and other security requirements as needed for customer sites
Base salary range $85K to $95K with uncapped commissions.
