Your Opportunity
We are seeking a
Senior Cost Estimator
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in our municipal, industrial, and alternative project delivery teams. If you're passionate about numbers, thrive on precision, and want to contribute to impactful projects, this opportunity is for you. Your Key Responsibilities Cost Estimation Excellence:
Develop accurate, timely, and detailed cost estimates for major projects, guiding project outcomes and ensuring client satisfaction. Analytical Insight:
Prepare estimates by analyzing costs, materials, labor, bid documentation, and specifications with attention to detail. Database Management:
Design and maintain cost estimating databases using various software to streamline processes. Value Management:
Collaborate with project teams to review drawings and specifications, aiding in cost-effective decisions. Validation and Guidance:
Evaluate third-party estimates, monitor market conditions, and provide estimating guidance for complex projects. Technical Skills:
Perform quantity take-offs for large concrete structures and contribute to project scheduling. Documentation:
Write concise Basis of Estimate and Schedule reports. Client Collaboration:
Participate in client reviews to ensure alignment with project goals. Risk Assessment:
Establish estimating criteria and lead risk analysis related to costs and schedules. Design Collaboration:
Analyze critical path activities and resolve issues with design teams. Team Building:
Support the development of estimating and scheduling teams and participate in staffing and training. Experience & Skills:
Minimum 15 years in cost estimating or construction management, proficiency in MCACES, MII, Sage, @Risk, AutoCAD, and MS Office, with strong problem-solving and collaborative skills. This position primarily involves office work, with some field work required. This description is not exhaustive; duties may change as needed. Pay Range:
Min: $152,700; Max: $229,100 (Locations in NYC, CA, NJ) Location:
