Position Overview: As a Technical Account Manager at Fulton May Solutions (FMS), LLC, you will support clients by maintaining a high-quality client relationship that delivers value, focusing on customer success, high retention of managed service clients, and IT project sales. Your responsibilities include monitoring overall client health, ensuring customer retention, building relationships with decision-makers and influencers, driving the client technology roadmap, delivering proposals, and closing projects through excellent client stewardship. You will collaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, business development, marketing, finance, and leadership to enhance the client experience. The ideal candidate has a background in MSP services, strong client relationship skills, and experience in selling IT projects. A result-oriented professional with a proven track record in business development, sales, and client management, comfortable working remotely, in-office, or onsite. Responsibilities: Develop a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed your annual sales goals. Identify client needs and risks to renewal via SWOT analysis to find project opportunities. Build trust-based relationships with decision-makers to deliver value. Engage in daily activities including calls, emails, video meetings, and in-person presentations. Log activities within the company's relationship management tools. Collaborate across teams to improve the client experience. Refine strategies based on feedback and results. Qualifications: Experience in MSP environments delivering high-end customer results and understanding client needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams. Ability to work effectively remotely or in-office. Experience with MSP CRM tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in social media thought leadership, e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter. Strong presentation skills for client meetings and reviews. Previous experience in technology, preferably MSP. Entrepreneurial spirit and team-oriented mindset. Requirements: BA/BS degree from an accredited institution. Five years of client services/support and sales/business development experience. Proven track record in client success, relationship management, and IT project sales. Job Details: Full-time hybrid role based in the Chicago area.
