Patient volume is 2-3 rooms per night with a patient age group of pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience is required with complex sleep apnea, hypopnea, and periodic breathing. Additional skills required include understanding of respiratory inductance plethysmography and hypoventilation. Participation in clinician-only roles requires RPSGT or RRT/SDS certification, but both certifications are not necessary. Travelers may float to other units or facilities as part of the job expectation. Candidates must provide references from within the last 24 months. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted for this position. The job requires knowledge of Epic or similar charting systems. Workers will be expected to comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
