About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fundraising and Community Engagement. The successful candidate will be tasked with cultivating relationships and increasing financial commitments from existing supporters, as well as inspiring new community members to become significant financial backers. This role is pivotal in growing a strong grassroots movement focused on advocacy and voting. The Executive Director will be responsible for creating and executing a plan to enhance community engagement and revenue, building and sustaining donor relationships, and meeting fundraising goals. A key aspect of the position is to identify, recruit, and develop lay leadership for various roles and to provide regular updates that encourage involvement in the company's policy and advocacy work.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 5 years' of work experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success. Strong ties to the Jewish community and schools are essential, as is a deep commitment to Jewish education and advocacy. The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, the ability to pivot in dynamic situations, and a problem-solving, analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of working independently, and adept at managing multiple assignments with attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or commensurate experience, and the position is remote, but the applicant must reside in the Los Angeles area.
