The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated group that provides expert advice on a range of financial transactions, with a focus on the middle market. This role is pivotal in delivering bespoke solutions to clients, including M&A, debt and equity capital transactions, recapitalizations, restructurings, and liability management. The Vice President will work closely with a team of professionals to execute all necessary deliverables, from financial analysis to transaction execution, and will be expected to contribute to the firm's growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Applicants for the Vice President, Restructuring role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program and at least 7 years' of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years' in investment banking, specifically in restructuring or related practice lines. A strong knowledge of bankruptcy law, valuation, and credit agreements is essential. The role requires the ability to work in a small, collaborative team, and the candidate should be adept at interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior executives to line workers. The Vice President will also be responsible for preparing and presenting client deliverables, negotiating and documenting transactions, and supporting business development efforts.
