Vice President of Investments About the Company Vertically integrated commercial real estate investment, development & management company Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held Founded 1951 Employees 51-200 About the Role The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President or Vice President of Investments to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the executive team, actively participating in the identification and sourcing of commercial real estate (CRE) opportunities, particularly in emerging asset classes and markets. This role involves leading the underwriting, market analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital structure evaluation for new investment opportunities across various asset classes, including industrial, flex, office, self-storage, and multi-family. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire acquisition process, from initial sourcing to deal closing, and will work closely with the asset and property management teams to ensure alignment with long-term portfolio strategy.

Applicants must have 8-15 years' of relevant experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on acquisitions, asset management, or investment analysis. A strong background in identifying trends and executing investments in the CRE market is essential, with a preference for those who have worked with a CRE owner/operator or institutional private equity real estate firm. The role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus, as well as a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, entrepreneurial, and possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Responsibilities also include preparing investment memoranda, financing packages, and presentation materials, as well as fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the CRE industry.
