The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all residential loans comply with federal, state, and municipal regulations, as well as the standards of the secondary market. This role involves direct management of the department's daily activities, creating and maintaining a pipeline management process, and leading a team to meet and exceed operational goals. The Vice President will also be involved in the development and improvement of loan sale and servicing operations, as well as the implementation of new technology initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience, a thorough knowledge of real estate transactions, and be proficient in mortgage processing and underwriting. The role requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to problem-solve, influence others, and work independently. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage vendor relationships, and a general knowledge of banking products and services are essential. The Vice President will also be involved in staff management, including training, performance appraisals, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required, and experience with Loan Origination Software and Fair Lending Software is preferred.
