About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer to lead and manage its system-wide compliance programs. This executive will be responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of compliance programs, including those related to privacy, accreditation, and research integrity. The role demands a strategic and experienced leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance. The successful candidate will also serve as a trusted advisor to management and the board, offering guidance on complex regulatory compliance challenges. A high degree of personal integrity, strong analytical and negotiating skills, and a commitment to the mission of the organization are essential.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant leadership experience, with a specific focus on healthcare corporate compliance and regulatory issues. Substantial expertise in data privacy and security is strongly preferred. The Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer will be expected to provide direction and oversight to the compliance program, establish and maintain auditing and monitoring procedures, and ensure that the organization's policies and programs are in line with core values and mission. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area is required, with a preference for a doctorate, law degree, or other relevant graduate degree. Professional certifications such as Healthcare Compliance, Certified (CHC) from the HCCA are also preferred. The role involves leading a team, managing a budget, and collaborating with various functions within the organization, including legal, internal audit, risk management, finance, and human resources.
