This role involves developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and a monthly management reporting package, as well as providing strategic financial advice and performing job costing and analysis to inform pricing decisions.
Key responsibilities for the Fractional CFO include automating financial processes, mentoring the finance and accounting team, and overseeing tax planning. The role also requires the submission of monthly financial statements, monitoring financial reports for accuracy, and attending regular meetings to review financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, be adept at financial forecasting, and have the ability to create C-Suite presentation decks with financial figures. Additionally, the CFO will be involved in the annual budget process, conduct financial analysis of employee benefits, and ensure the timely filing of annual reports. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and cost optimization is essential.
