About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Labor and Employment to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a senior, enterprise-level member of the LBE team, leading the Labor & Employment Center of Expertise and serving as a strategic legal partner to HR, business partners, and General Counsels. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing labor and employment legal strategy both in the U.S. and globally, with a focus on significant international work and the integration of labor and employment advice on a global scale. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of employment matters, including but not limited to, employment processes and toolkits, contingent workforce strategy, severance programs, audits, restrictive covenants, HR policies, FLSA/wage & hour compliance, labor relations, associate relations, and workforce restructuring.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years' of experience as a practicing attorney in the labor and employment field, with a strong background in advising technology-driven multinational organizations with complex workforce models. Educational requirements include a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from accredited institutions. The role also involves acting as the enterprise lead for all international labor and employment matters, supporting M&A activities, and managing employment-related disputes. The Senior Counsel will be expected to have a deep understanding of global mobility issues, cross-border employment structures, and workforce compliance, as well as the ability to provide legal counsel on a variety of cross-functional matters.
