About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to provide strategic leadership and direction for the HR function. The CHRO will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention, learning and development, total rewards, workforce management, and HR technology management. This executive-level position requires a candidate with a master's degree in HR, organizational development, or a related field, and at least 10 years' of progressive experience in HR leadership, with a minimum of 3 years' at the executive or senior leadership level. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chancellor and Cabinet on strategic planning and administration, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with the company's mission, values, and talent strategy. Applicants for the CHRO position at the company must have a strong background in multiple HR disciplines and be proficient in HRIS systems, preferably Workday. The role involves overseeing complex personnel and disciplinary matters, serving as the Title IX Coordinator, and ensuring compliance with various non-discrimination laws and policies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performance HR teams, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Responsibilities also include financial oversight, budget planning, and control of the HR department. The CHRO will be expected to lead and inspire teams, create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and work in a dynamic environment to meet the company's workforce needs and goals.
