About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and provide programmatic support. The CFO will be responsible for supervising the finance department, serving as the chief financial spokesperson, and assisting the CEO in strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and forecasting. This role involves ensuring the organization's financial practices align with not-for-profit accounting standards, maintaining internal controls, and overseeing all fiscal reporting activities. The CFO will also be involved in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, managing the organization's banking activities, and staying current with financial trends.

Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for an M.B.A. or a master's degree, and a minimum of 5-8 years' of senior management experience in finance within a non-profit organization. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission of the organization, be highly ethical, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in not-for-profit accounting, organizational development, and program operations is essential, as is the ability to manage staff, provide performance evaluations, and foster a culture of financial awareness and knowledge.
