About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President for Technology Governance, with a focus on Issue Management and Risk Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technology and security issue management program and team, with a strategic emphasis on identifying and addressing potential systemic issues, challenging remediation plans, and ensuring early risk detection. This role demands a leader who can maintain a strong working relationship across various organizational lines, including security and technology leadership, and legal, particularly in a high-growth, innovative environment. The VP will also be tasked with instilling a culture of proactive issue and risk management, overseeing complex remediation initiatives, and enforcing standard policies and procedures.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in technical project management, issue management, or remediation efforts within a highly regulated environment, and a similar duration of combined security and technology experience. The role requires a deep understanding of risk management, policy and standards, and regulatory compliance, as well as experience with tools such as Archer, JIRA, and Service Now. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and a proven ability to influence outcomes to meet security, risk, and business objectives. A background in financial services and experience in adopting and refining risk methodologies are preferred. The VP will also be expected to lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior engineers and analysts, and to strategically identify and oversee projects that enhance the program.
