About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and maintain its accounting and financial systems. The CFO will be responsible for four key functional areas: accounting, funds management, financial reporting, and administration. This includes tasks such as improving processes, ensuring the integrity of the accounting system, and staying current on GAAP, regulatory, and tax accounting issues. The successful candidate will work with senior management to develop strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, and will be tasked with the preparation and accuracy of various financial reports. Additionally, the CFO will manage the ALCO process, perform financial stress tests, and be the primary contact for cost control and vendor contract negotiations.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Master's degree, CPA, CMA, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 8-10 years' of work experience, with 5-7 years' in a bank-related role. The role requires a candidate with in-depth knowledge of regulatory issues, investments, and the asset/liability management process. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to supervise and direct the work of others. The CFO will also be expected to have a strong understanding of risk management best practices and to create a culture of risk awareness and management within the organization.
