About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP Accounting/Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the global accounting and FP&A function. The successful candidate will be a strategic and hands-on financial leader with a proven track record in dynamic, transformative environments. Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, global compliance, and M&A accounting. The VP will be instrumental in reducing the time to close, strengthening controls, and preparing the business for future growth and complexity, particularly in the areas of accounting system migrations and international consolidation. The role also involves leading and optimizing day-to-day accounting operations, driving continuous improvement in the monthly close process, and managing a distributed accounting team.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and controllership roles. A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading accounting teams within a SaaS or technology company is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of M&A accounting, ASC 606, and private equity-backed operational environments, as well as direct experience with UK VAT, U.S. sales tax, FX translation, and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations. Experience with accounting and billing systems like Xero, Maxio, and Salesforce is essential, and experience in leading a migration to a mid-market or enterprise ERP is preferred. The role demands a strategic thinker with deep operational finance expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage cross-border teams.
