Aspen Hospitality, a division of Aspen One, develops, owns, and operates a growing portfolio of luxury and upper-scale hotels, private clubs, and branded residential properties under The Nell and Limelight brands. This includes The Little Nell, Aspen's only Five-Star, Five-Diamond ski-in/ski-out hotel and its affiliated Residences located at the base of Aspen Mountain, as well as a new Nell property currently in development at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Aspen Hospitality's Limelight hotels are located across Colorado, with locations in Aspen, Snowmass, and Denver, and in Ketchum, Idaho. Two new Limelight hotels will also open in 2025 in Boulder, Colorado and Mammoth, California. Position Summary

The Expediter is responsible for coordinating the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring dishes are prepared correctly, timed appropriately, and delivered to the correct table. This position acts as the bridge between the kitchen and servers to guarantee a successful service. This position reports to the Chef de Cuisine. Job Posting Deadline

Facilitate a timely and smooth service by ensuring efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the servers Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority Assist in the final preparation of dishes Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature Deliver orders to maintain fast service Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning Responsible for assisting all team members in organization of kitchen items, to include, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies and proper rotation and organization of all food deliveries Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred One-year related experience required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of quality and sanitation standards Demonstrate an understanding of health and safety rules and guidelines Ability to use kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays Ability to handle complaints from guests to preserve the restaurant's reputation Ability to work under pressure in a face paced environment Ability to be a team player Ability to communicate in English Ability to transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request) Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50) Job Benefits
