Cupertino, California, United States Software and Services Description We are seeking a talented software engineering manager to lead a team of engineers that develop filesystem and related software for local storage (including but not exclusively APFS). This will require coordination and goal-setting for new features and improvements to our file system and cross-functional development with other software teams within Apple. Minimum Qualifications

Experience in leading a low-level or system software team Understanding of core OS concepts & fundamentals (such as kernel space, persistent storage and system scheduling) Expert-level programming skills in C or C++ 7+ years of experience in system software development Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their applications Experience with recruiting, hiring, ramping and retaining high performing SW engineers Experience in performance analysis of low level systems At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
