Full-Time Nanny / Household Manager – Chicago (Lakeshore East → Lincoln Park)

Location: Lakeshore East (relocating to Lincoln Park within a year) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:45 PM (50 hours/week guaranteed) Compensation: $1,500–$1,600/week + PTO Start Date: Flexible, by mid-September Position Overview A warm and welcoming Chicago family is seeking an experienced full-time nanny/household managerto care for two children, ages 1 year and almost 4 years. The family lives in Lakeshore East but will be relocating to Lincoln Park within the next year, so flexibility to work in both neighborhoods is essential.The ideal candidate will provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care while also assisting with household management tasks that keep the home running smoothly. Primary Childcare Duties
Provide safe, loving care for two children (infant/toddler and preschooler). Manage school drop-offand pick-up for the oldest child, using your own vehicle. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, and learning experiences. Take the youngestto community activities such as library story time and playgroups (1–2x/week). Ensure daily outdoor playtime(weather permitting). Manage naps, snacks, and meals for both children. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Household Management Responsibilities
Family laundry and bedding changes. Light housekeeping, including tidying play spaces, children’s rooms, and the kitchen after use. Grocery shopping and household errands. Coordinating with household vendors or service providers. General household upkeep. Pet Care (Cats)
Feeding cats in the evening. (Both morning and evening when one parent travels) Scooping litter box (optional, but would be helpful). Additional Details
One parent travels regularly for work;occasional later evenings will be required (7 pm). A parent works from home—nanny must be comfortable in this environment. Occasional weekend babysitting and/or family travel may be offered, would be a bonus, not a requirement. Candidate Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of professional nanny experience, with infants and toddlers. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Fully vaccinated with all early childhood immunizations, Tdap, and Flu. Background in early childhood educationstrongly preferred. Must be organized, flexible, and an excellent communicator. Comfortable with cats. Must have own reliable vehicle; parking provided.
