We are looking for an experienced

IT Security Project Manager

to lead initiatives that strengthen and safeguard our clients’ IT environments. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in

project delivery

along with a strong foundation in

IT security principles and practices . In this role, you will be responsible for

planning, coordinating, and executing IT security projects

end to end. You will oversee resources, align teams and third-party partners, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. If you’re a

Role and responsibilities Lead multiple IT security projects end-to-end,from vulnerability management and security awareness initiatives to EDR, IAM, and SIEM implementations. Build clear project roadmaps with timelines, budgets, milestones, and resources; keep delivery on track and adjust quickly when needed. Act as the main contact for stakeholders, translating technical progress, risks, and dependencies into clear updates for both technical teams and senior leadership. Anticipate risks, manage issues proactively, and put effective contingency plans in place to keep projects moving forward. Coordinate cross-functional teams (security engineers, admins, network specialists, compliance officers, business partners) to drive collaboration and alignment. Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring the right people, tools, and vendors are in place. Maintain high-quality project documentation (charters, status updates, risk logs, lessons learned) and provide regular reporting on progress. Guarantee that all deliverables meet quality standards, align with company policies, and strengthen the overall security framework. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, or a related discipline. 3 to 10 years’ experience in project management, ideally with a focus on IT security initiatives. Hands-on knowledge of project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and their practical application. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project. Preferred Qualifications Professional project management certification such as

PMP, PgMP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) . Security certifications including

CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ , or equivalent. Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) with familiarity in compliance frameworks such as

ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR . Background in

cloud security projects

across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Solid understanding of IT security principles, technologies, and best practices, including firewall management, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, IAM, SIEM, and security protocols.
