This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: Complete tasking with minimum oversight Understand and apply system requirements Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements Create technical reports and present technical information Requirements coordination with systems engineers, specialty teams, and customer Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis Support all phases of the systems life cycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal Review customer deliverables, testing, and requirements verification. Bring technical information to boards including PERB, AERB and TRB (as applicable) for all variances, technical direction to supplier, etc. Support pre-ship reviews and coordination with ILS group Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements Mentor team members Assistance in planning and scheduling activities Interface with AF customer and Subcontractor Review/approve Test Plans, Reports and review test data for electrical and mechanical components Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs Minimum of 1 year of previous experience working/managing subcontractors Preferred Qualifications: Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope Minimum of 2 years leading or managing technical work/scope Position Benefits: As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80.
