Join a fast-paced manufacturing team where your attention to detail and commitment to safety make a real impact. As an Assembler/Packer, you’ll be working hands-on to prepare high-quality aluminum products for shipment, ensuring every piece meets customer standards.
Position – Packer Job Location – Withee, WI Starting Date – Immediate Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire Employment Type – Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday) Starting Pay – $18.70 per hour Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education – High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required Required Experience – Experience in a manufacturing environment necessary or other job physical in nature
This hands-on role involves inspecting, assembling, and packing aluminum parts according to precise specifications. Team members ensure product quality, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, efficient workspace. Ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a warm, physical, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities - Perform start-of-shift equipment and safety checks - Read work orders and follow verbal/written instructions - Visually inspect all parts for cosmetic and functional defects - Wrap, assemble, or pack parts according to client specifications - Use measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers, square) for verification - Record production data and complete end-of-shift logs
Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent - Prior manufacturing experience preferred - Basic computer knowledge - Must be safety-conscious and aware of surroundings (especially when working near machinery or forklifts) - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs with team-assist
Physical & Work Environment - Hot manufacturing floor with moderate noise - Requires use of PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves) - Exposure to airborne particles and moving mechanical parts - Regular use of hands and upper body for manual tasks
