In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to critically ill patients across a diverse age population, from pediatrics to geriatrics. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and work closely with the Unit Director/Manager or designated personnel. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct ongoing assessment of critically ill patients to promote optimal outcomes.- Perform comprehensive health histories and physical assessments.- Prioritize patient problems/needs based on actual and potential threats to health.- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessment findings.- Maintain an updated problem list to address the needs of critically ill patients, including discharge planning and appropriate referrals.- Manage life-threatening complications according to established policies and procedures.- Establish interventions to prevent complications, ensuring airway management, hemodynamic stability, and normal heart rhythm.- Maintain current knowledge and clinical skills in critical care nursing by engaging in continuous education, including mandatory training and competency assessments.- Stay informed of professional issues, trends, and scientific advancements in Critical Care Nursing.- Ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, and registration requirements. Qualifications: - Valid nursing license and certifications per regulatory requirements.- Experience in Critical Care Nursing preferred.- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle life-threatening situations.
