As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with medical professionals to assist in Mohs surgical procedures, manage patient interactions, and perform essential clinical and administrative tasks. If you have a passion for dermatology and patient care, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by obtaining medical histories and taking vital signs. Assist the surgeon during procedures, ensuring that all instruments and supplies are available and sterile. Provide post-operative instructions and care to patients, answering any questions they may have. Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment, following strict hygiene and safety protocols. Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, maintaining patient records, and liaising with insurance providers. Educate patients regarding their conditions and the Mohs surgical process.
