Packaging Operator - 1st Shift
Join a team known for producing high-quality sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, free of the top 9 most common allergens. As a Packaging Technician, you will oversee operations involving Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms, while ensuring cleanliness and sanitation to meet our high standards. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating high-speed packaging machines to produce bags for our chips. Your role will also include minor troubleshooting to identify and resolve machine stoppages or jams. Responsibilities
Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line. Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures. Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control. Communicate effectively with team members and management. Essential Skills
2+ years of machine operation experience, preferably in high-speed manufacturing. Proficiency in setting up and operating packaging machines. Ability to perform changeovers and minor troubleshooting. Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in adjusting feeds and speeds. Experience with filling machines and packaging machines. 2+ years of minor troubleshooting experience. Why Work Here?

Work the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Enjoy a clean, temperature-controlled facility with a pleasant aroma, and adhere to GMP standards, including wearing a hair net, beard net, smock, hard hat, and steel toes. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
