Inbound Logistics Coordinator
As an Inbound Logistics Coordinator, you will provide support to suppliers by responding to incoming calls and emails, setting up pickups, providing ETAs for drivers, and assisting suppliers with post-pickup reporting. You will create supplier purchase orders, generate pickup numbers using an internal software system, and dispatch drivers with necessary pickup sheets and unloading reports. You will manage a database software scale system for incoming scale traffic and support the sales team with supplier onboarding and cost updates. You will also track equipment, ensure timely supplier payments, troubleshoot service issues, and perform general office duties. Cross-training as an Outbound Logistics Coordinator may be required. Responsibilities
Respond to supplier inquiries via calls and emails. Set up pickups and provide ETAs for drivers. Assist suppliers with post-pickup reporting. Create supplier purchase orders and pickup numbers. Dispatch drivers with necessary documents. Manage a database software scale system. Support sales team with supplier onboarding. Track equipment and ensure timely supplier payments. Communicate with operations team regarding shipments. Troubleshoot service issues and assist with monthly closeout. Report equipment repairs and ensure proper tagging for repair. Cross-train as an Outbound Logistics Coordinator as needed. Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics with a focus on import/export. Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing office environment. High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer service and data entry skills. Experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, and dispatch. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. Professional communication skills. Strong work standards and accountability for assignments. Safety and environmental performance awareness. Effective planning and organizing skills. Ability to participate in and contribute to team goals. Competency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents. The work environment is an office/plant setting with quiet noise levels. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6am
3pm or 7am
4pm, and the position is 100% onsite. The role is a six-month open-ended contract with the potential for a permanent position.
