Construction Superintendent
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the safe completion of projects within budget and on schedule while adhering to quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing safety compliance, craft supervision, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, material handling, and quality control. Responsibilities
Ensure job safety is incorporated into planning and execution, promoting accountability among staff and subcontractors. Maintain high-quality standards for all project activities, addressing any repetitive quality issues with subcontractors or vendors. Develop and implement the pre-job plan, making necessary adjustments to the plan as required. Participate in project scheduling to ensure alignment with job planning. Complete specific tasks during mobilization as assigned in pre-job planning sessions. Coordinate and supervise all company workforces on the project, including hiring and terminating hourly paid personnel. Develop and evaluate Assistant Superintendents, Coordinators, Engineers, Foremen, and craft persons. Conduct personnel evaluations, development, and retention, recommending promotions, transfers, or terminations as needed. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, holding weekly meetings with all subcontractors' Foremen. Develop forms detailing special construction methods for job efficiency. Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records, studying labor recaps and cost controls to address any budget concerns. Expedite vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis. Ensure proper inspection and documentation of materials received. Participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings to keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes and potential conflicts. Maintain project logs and be sensitive to customer or neighbor requirements to ensure satisfactory relations. Essential Skills
Experience in construction, subcontractor management, and project management. Experience with data centers, fiber optic, copper fiber, low voltage, and electrical systems. Quality assurance and quality control expertise. 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical/low voltage systems. Experience supervising communications systems installation, outside/inside plant cabling installation, and structured cabling systems. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Generous benefits for our fulltime employees.
