Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of machines and building equipment to maximize productivity and safety. You will perform various duties to maintain, repair, and enhance the efficiency of equipment. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Connect electrical wires to machines and rewire machines according to specifications. Conduct checks and balances on machines to ensure proper functioning of the wiring system. Replace, repair, and calibrate various machine components regularly. Inspect, test, and adjust systems, machinery, and equipment on a regular basis. Record inspections, tests, and repairs on preventive maintenance stickers. Respond to verbal or written instructions for safety and security calls regarding machinery. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturers' specifications, and other specifications. Disassemble equipment using hand tools and power tools as required. Inspect damaged parts, determine the nature of repair, and use repair tools to rework or refinish worn or damaged parts. Install special functional and structural parts and equipment. Reassemble equipment and test performance as needed. Set up new machines to the wiring system as needed. Record written recommendations on repair work needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience in working with hydraulics and pneumatics. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operation manuals. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
