Locums - AnesthesiologistLocation: DuBois, Pennsylvania (Float Pool - Elk, Clearfield, Brookville)Setting: Hospital (DuBois is trauma center)Start Dates: 11/24-11/26, 11/28 (closed 11/27 for Thanksgiving)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM-3:15 PM (or until last case is done)Call: None Key Details
  • Support Staff: CRNA at each location
  • Coverage Needed: Ongoing Monday-Friday
  • Patient Volume:
    • DuBois (high-volume trauma center): 40 cases/day incl. endo
    • 4 ANES + 15-18 CRNAs
    • Smaller sites: significantly lower volume
  • Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
  • EMR: Cerner
Facility Information
  • DuBois: 272 beds - trauma center (requires heads, hearts, OB)
  • Elk: 163 beds
  • Clearfield: 50 beds
  • Brookville: 35 beds
Required Skills
  • Bread & Butter General Anesthesia
  • ENT, GYN, OB (DuBois only), Plastics, Endoscopy, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic
  • No: Heads/Hearts/OB outside DuBois
Licensing & Certification
  • Board Certification: Required
  • State License: PA or IMLC - must be active due to quick start
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years required
