Environment of Autonomy Innovative Commercial Approach People over process We seek a Senior Software Engineer to support our Geospatial customer by providing enterprise architecture, engineering, operations, sustainment, modification, and testing of geospatial-intelligence core services. This role involves working in secure cloud environments and utilizing modern agile development methodologies to make data accessible, discoverable, and deliverable to the IC. Candidates should be passionate about modern architectures and solving challenging problems. Required Skills : BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. 6+ years of experience in software engineering/development or related areas. Experience in Python enterprise application development. Experience building high-performance applications in React.js. Web services architecture, design, and development. Experience in PostgreSQL database design. Experience working in AWS and utilizing AWS tools like S3. Nice to have : Master's degree or equivalent in related fields. At least 4 years of full-stack development experience including Java, Web services, Database, and micro-services. At least 1 year of experience with agile and lean methodologies. Experience developing specialized spatial analysis functions using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, Perl. Experience working independently with clients to develop user stories. Experience integrating geospatial COTS software, developing geospatial applications, and working with geospatial data formats and tools. In-depth experience with standards-based APIs and web services, including OGC standards. Experience developing terrain analysis visualization and algorithms or automated detection algorithms.
