A well-established national litigation defense firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-exposure, complex lawsuits, with a focus on trucking and catastrophic injury cases. The firm represents a diverse client base, including Fortune 100 companies, top-rated insurance firms, and closely held businesses. The successful candidate will work on day-to-day litigation activities and will have the chance to contribute significantly to high-profile cases. Location:

Atlanta, GA Duties: Handle day-to-day litigation for complex and high-exposure lawsuits. Focus on trucking and catastrophic injury cases. Represent clients, including Fortune 100 companies, insurance companies, and closely-held businesses. Assist in preparing and presenting cases in court. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation tactics and strategies. Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations. Requirements: 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred. Experience in trucking or catastrophic injury litigation a plus. Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules. Proven ability to handle complex cases and manage deadlines effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active Bar license in the relevant jurisdiction (Georgia preferred). Skills: Litigation experience, with an emphasis on high-exposure and complex cases. Knowledge of trucking and catastrophic injury laws is a plus. Legal research and writing skills. Strong case management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
