Role description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join our Energy Transition team to support and grow our Siting and Routing business in the Midwestern and Eastern United States. As a Siting Lead, you will be responsible for leading siting efforts for clients across sectors such as power generation, transmission, oil and gas, and renewables. A solid understanding of routing, siting processes, and public outreach strategies is essential. Role accountabilities: As a Siting Lead, you will manage routing and siting studies, lead the preparation of state Public Utilities Commission (PUC) siting applications and reports, and coordinate with public outreach and permitting teams. Experience with CPCN filings with agencies like the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, Illinois Commerce Commission, Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, Michigan Public Service Commission, Ohio Power and Siting Board, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, West Virginia Public Service Commission, Virginia State Corporate Commission, Kentucky Public Service Commission, Kentucky State Board on Electric Generation and Transmission Siting, and Tennessee Public Utility Commission is required. You will also develop scopes and budgets for siting components, develop siting strategies, and coordinate with clients to ensure project success. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including remote work and periodic travel (10-15%). Qualifications & Experience:

Required: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, urban planning, engineering, biology, ecology, or related fields 10+ years in environmental consulting or equivalent experience with environmental agencies and commercial entities 3+ years supporting electric transmission, substation siting projects, and CPCN filings in the Midwestern and Eastern US Experience in task and project management supporting multiple projects Preferred: Experience with siting wind, solar, and renewable energy projects outside the Midwest and Eastern US Experience with statistical analysis and raster-based siting studies Join Arcadis and advance your career while helping create a sustainable future.
