This position involves providing installation and troubleshooting support for SAP installations and upgrade projects. You will maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS), and be responsible for installations, upgrades, and patch applications to SAP software products. The role also includes applying patches to databases used for SAP applications. Your role

Work collaboratively with SAP functional teams, business and regional support hubs, and management teams on projects, issues, and enhancements. Manage SAP performance and resources, including monitoring, availability configuration, application tuning, prevention, and optimization. Provide technical guidance for large-scale domestic and international projects, including installation, tuning, and patch management. Offer problem resolution and participate in a 24x7 on-call SAP support team (L2/L3 support). Manage vendor deliverables and strategic outsourcing partners. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential for success in this role, as well as people management abilities. Your skills and experience

Extensive knowledge in various environments, including Linux, Unix, Wintel servers, and databases like Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server, etc. Proficiency in HANA databases and Solution Manager configuration (e.g., Manage System Config, CHARM, CTS+). Solid experience with sizing tools like QuickSizer and capacity planning. Experience working with virtualized environments. Familiarity with SAP cloud environments (AWS, MS Azure) is a plus, with certifications being an added advantage. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations is a nice-to-have. Life at Capgemini
