A prominent law firm in Newark, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Insurance Coverage Attorney with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join its Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice. The role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse and challenging work, including handling first- and third-party claims and litigation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrating strong research and writing capabilities, confidence in court and client interactions, and a desire to expand their expertise in insurance law.
Duties
Analyze, interpret, and litigate complex insurance coverage issues for first- and third-party claims. Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court. Provide detailed legal opinions and advice to clients regarding coverage disputes and bad faith claims. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop innovative strategies for resolving disputes. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal insurance laws and regulations. Requirements
2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and bad faith matters. Admitted to practice law in MA and NJ/NY. Proven ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active membership in the Bar Associations of NJ/NY and MA. Skills
Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities. Confidence in appearing before courts and interacting with clients. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Job Location
