We’re looking for a savvy, self-starting
Social Media Manager
with strong
content creation chops
to join our team part-time (25 hours/week). You’ll help bring our clients’ stories to life on social — through photos, Reels, posts, and the occasional behind-the-scenes magic. You’ll also manage to content calendars, community engagement, and light analytics reporting. This is a highly creative and collaborative role with room to grow. This role is DMV based but requires travel to New York and Connecticut on a regular basis
for content capture (think: on-site shoots, grand openings, and tastings). Key Responsibilities Create, curate, and post engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn for multiple restaurant brands Plan and execute monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals Shoot and edit short-form video and photography on-site at restaurant locations. Write compelling, on-brand captions and coordinate hashtag and tagging strategies Engage with communities by responding to comments, DMs, and tagged content Track performance and deliver light reporting with insights and optimizations Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and food/bev culture Requirements min 6 months experience managing social media for brands (restaurant/hospitality a major plus) Strong skills in mobile photography, video capture, and editing (Reels, TikToks, etc.) Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar tools Copywriting skills with a knack for voice, tone, and storytelling Highly organized, self-directed, and deadline-driven Willing and able to travel regularly to NY and CT for shoots and events (some weekends required) Must have your own reliable transportation and equipment (phone, laptop, etc.) Nice to Have Agency or multi-brand experience Familiarity with scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or Sprout Basic understanding of paid social and boosting content Love of food, coffee, or restaurant culture To Apply Please send your resume, portfolio or social handles you manage, and a brief note on why you’d be a great fit to stacey@gostaceykane.com
