RN - ICU | Medical ICU (MICU) - 16-32 Week Assignment Burlington, VT
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical ICU assignment (with some Neuro overflow).
Assignment Details:
* Contract length: 16-32 weeks * Facility type: Large, teaching hospital * Must float to: SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4 * Schedule: Monday-Sunday (no block scheduling) * Holidays: Must be available to work 2 of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) * Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays , next available is 9/08 * Transportation: Public transportation is not available - a personal or rental vehicle with snow/all-season tires (Nov-Apr) is strongly recommended
Requirements:
* Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (must be completed prior to start). CCRN preferred. * Experience:
* Minimum 2 years ICU experience * Prior travel nursing experience required * Must have large teaching facility background * Strong skills in starting IVs, managing multiple titrating drips, ventilator care, and critical interventions * Must have experience with multi-system disease, CRRT, IABP, ECMO, COVID patients, ventilators, multiple drips
* Charting: EPIC experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
Process:
* Interview to Offer (IVS → OFFER)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience
EPIC experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
