ST Law Office is seeking a passionate and driven Immigration/Removal Defense Attorney to join our mission-aligned legal team based in Florida. Position Titles / Keywords: Immigration Attorney, Removal Defense Attorney, Deportation Defense Lawyer, EOIR Litigation Attorney, USCIS Interview Attorney, Immigration Court Advocate Key Responsibilities Represent clients in removal (deportation) proceedings before EOIR and in USCIS interviews. You must be able to travel short notice if the hearing is not virtual. Develop creative and strategic legal defenses tailored to each client’s case. Draft and file motions, legal briefs, and supporting documents with precision and timeliness. Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis to inform advocacy. Appear in immigration court for master calendar and individual hearings. Build trusting client relationships, communicate complex legal processes clearly, and maintain a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach. Collaborate with legal support staff, other attorneys, and intake teams. Participate in firmwide huddles, case strategy reviews, and professional development sessions. Travel as needed for in-person court appearances throughout Florida and possibly beyond. Support ST Law’s reputation for outstanding results and client care by meeting high professional standards and contributing to internal team culture. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state (Florida Bar preferred but not required). Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in immigration law, specifically in removal defense or deportation litigation (Preferred but litigation experience a must) In-depth understanding of EOIR procedures, USCIS processes, and relevant case law. Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and case management skills. Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. Commitment to social justice, client advocacy, and community impact. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary:Starting from $95,000 annually Incentives: Monthly and quarterly performance-based bonuses Travel Expense Reimbursement Comprehensive Benefits Package including:
