What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Review, draft, and negotiate various types of contracts and RFPs with significant annual revenue - Lead and manage legal aspects of contract negotiations with high-value suppliers, customers, and vendors - Provide legal advice and analysis regarding business risks associated with contracts - Develop, draft, and review corporate compliance policies and contract templates - Train and support the contracts administration team throughout the contracting process
What is Required (Qualifications): - Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school; state bar admission required - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal contracts - 3-5 years of experience in corporate transactions, focusing on commercial agreements - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience building efficient contract lifecycle management processes - Familiarity with advertising law and reviewing marketing materials - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
