Position: Senior Associate - Accounting and Finance Consulting (AFC)

Responsibilities:
Support the AFC team on various accounting projects.
Participate in the full accounting cycle, including preparation of journal entries, data validation, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Execute the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and validating data.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and understand all account types.
Understand and apply debits and credits, and post journal entries accurately.
Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and insights.
Prepare fixed asset schedules and perform monthly reconciliations.
Perform payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure compliance.
Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis.
Provide training and support to junior staff.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in full cycle accounting and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or equivalent certification.
Technical accounting expertise and advanced software skills.
