Travel Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Tucson, AZ

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Requirements:

* Current AZ RN license

* BLS, ACLS, NRP required

* Cerner experience required (Cerner Maternity is the reporting system)

Scope of Role:

The L&D RN is accountable for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care. Responsibilities include:

* Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

* Applying critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care

* Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education

* Delegating patient care priorities based on staff experience

* Supervising and directing personnel delivering patient care
