Core Responsibilities These duties are fundamental to the role. Candidates must be able to perform them—with or without reasonable accommodation—to remain eligible for the position.
* Provide comprehensive care for an assigned group of patients. * Accurately document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; update records with any changes in physician orders. * Support physicians during patient examinations and assist with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. * Collect and monitor patients' physiological data, observe clinical signs, and intervene when necessary. * Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood product administration. * Deliver safe, effective, and competent patient care. * Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge. * Educate patients and families on hospital policies and procedures. * Refer patients to appropriate healthcare personnel based on care needs. * Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff.

? Schedule Details
* Four 10-hour shifts per week: 4:45 AM - 3:15 PM. * Closed on weekends and major holidays. * Primary focus: Pre-operative care for surgical and interventional radiology patients.

* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience. * Strong understanding of nursing theory, practices, and procedures. * Proven ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services. * Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members. * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Sensitivity to cultural and language differences among patients and visitors. * Basic computer proficiency.

* Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Preferred:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.

* Active RN license from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a valid multistate compact RN license (eNLC). * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
