This role is for a Network Development Engineer (NDE) in the network design and development organization. Your focus will be on the architecture and support of cutting-edge datacenter network fabrics and systems. You will leverage a deep understanding of networking at the protocol level, coupled with coding skills to support automation in a production environment. Range and benefit information provided are specific to the stated locations only: US: Hiring Range in USD from $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May include bonus and equity. Candidates are typically placed within this range based on these factors and internal peer equity. Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers to develop new datacenter fabrics and services at cloud scale, ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence Lead technical direction for network features and automation opportunities Establish and promote engineering and operational best practices; work cross-organizationally to maintain high network quality Define and communicate scalable technical standards with future growth in mind Break down designs into executable tasks, coordinate with software teams early in the design process to develop supporting tools and frameworks Participate in operational rotations, provide support during incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis Mentor and develop upcoming network engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance Act as a liaison between network engineering and tooling organizations to translate future network needs into software requirements
