About the Role
About the Role As Solution Architect at muSharp, you will own the technical vision and architecture for a multi-tenant, enterprise SaaS collaboration platform built on .NET (C#), Next.js, Azure, and advanced AI workflows (Elsa, Azure OpenAI). You will drive decisions, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, secure, future-proof systems, bridging client requirements and robust technical delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture design for a cloud-native SaaS: .NET backend, Next.js frontend, Azure infrastructure, Elsa workflow automation, and advanced AI (Azure OpenAI, LLMs). Translate business/product requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable technical blueprints. Define and enforce architecture principles for performance, high availability, scalability, observability, and regulatory compliance (PDPL, GDPR, SOC2, etc.). Own solution strategy for key platform pillars: multi-tenancy, RBAC/auth, real-time/SignalR, data residency, and secure DevOps. Guide and mentor backend, frontend, DevOps, AI, and workflow engineers; facilitate technical design reviews and best coding practices. Oversee integration and orchestration of Azure services (AKS, Azure PostgreSQL/SQL, Redis, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Cognitive/Search). Lead POCs for emerging tech (AI pipelines, LLM orchestration, multi-cloud, advanced SaaS integrations). Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and security/compliance officers to ensure holistic delivery. Document architecture using diagrams (C4, UML), specs, and cloud blueprints; maintain architecture repository. Address architectural risks, issues, and technical debt proactively. Support DevOps in infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous deployment best practices. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM. 8+ years in large-scale software architecture/engineering, with at least
3 years as a Solution Architect for SaaS or enterprise platforms. Deep, hands-on expertise with: .NET Core/ASP.NET (C#), Web API, microservices, backend scaling API design, real-time (SignalR or Azure SignalR) , REST/BFFs, and secure SPA+API architectures Multi-tenant patterns, RBAC/OAuth2/OIDC and integrations with Azure AD/Auth0/Entra ID Workflow engines (Elsa, Camunda, or similar) CI/CD automation, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform/Bicep) Security-first design: encryption, threat modeling, secrets management, audit/compliance Strong analytical, systems-thinking, and documentation skills. Proven leadership/mentorship of engineering teams and coordination with business/product stakeholders. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent (AZ-305). Experience with PDPL/GDPR/SOC2 or data residency in MENA. Prior startups or product leadership on SaaS/collaboration/AI-focused platforms.
