Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least one year of experience, BLS, and RDCS or RCS certification for a day shift contract assignment.Job Details•Work in an acute care hospital setting as part of the Echo/Cardiac Sonography team,•Adult patient population with a variety of cardiac cases,•Day shifts (5x8 hours) with variable start times at 7:30 AM or 10:00 AM, including rotating weekends,•On-call is required, details to be provided,•Charting is completed using Epic EMR, and experience with this system is required,•No routine floating between like units, but may float to other hospital locations within the state as needed,Job Requirements•Minimum of one year experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer,•Current BLS and RDCS (Adult) or RCS certification required,•Active and valid CA license required; no temporary licenses accepted (license required if applicable),•Experience in an acute care setting preferred,•Must be able to provide two supervisory references from within the last three years,Additional Information•Duties include performing echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures for cardiac patients,•All travelers should be prepared to float within the state's facilities if needed,•Free parking is available onsite,•Candidates must commit to working at least three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day),•Return staff may be eligible after a 3-month waiting period,•No block scheduling available,•All onboarding modules are to be completed prior to start and annually,•Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and may receive a lower pay rate,],•hash,:•2058157542116544544,
