They ensure a smooth onboarding experience by demonstrating service excellence, providing hands-on support, and modeling our commitment to Legendary Service. Star Trainers are proactive, flexible, and supportive leaders who ensure each associate is equipped to deliver exceptional care. Workload Expectations Your workload will be adjusted during training shifts so you can focus on observation, coaching, and support. When not actively training, your regular job duties will resume as normal. You must be flexible and available to train on days, nights, and weekends, depending on when new hires are scheduled Training Responsibilities Provide hands-on training and real-time guidance for new Care Partners. Model and uphold Senior Stars standards for service, teamwork, safety, and Legendary Care. Promote a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that helps new associates feel valued. Observe and assess training progress and communicate feedback or concerns to the associates supervisor. Encourage, coach, and support new associates through learning curves, celebrating progress and growth. Share insights and tips to help new team members develop confidence and independence. Remain accessible for support or questions beyond the formal training period. Proactively help new associates overcome obstacles in their learning and seek leadership support when needed. Serve as a trusted coach and mentor, offering encouragement, constructive feedback, and gentle accountability. Be flexible in scheduling and adapt easily to changes in workflow, responsibilities, or team needs. Consistently model and promote Senior Stars culture, values, and our Promise to

Care Partner Responsibilities In addition to training duties, Star Trainer-Care Partners perform all essential functions of a Care Partner, including: Provide Personalized Daily Assistance Build Meaningful Relationships Encourage Engagement Promote Independence and Choice Observe and Report Changes Assist with Medication Support (if certified) Maintain Clean and Safe Spaces Document and Communicate Effectively Support Housekeeping and Laundry Needs Respond Promptly to Needs Represent Senior Star with Pride This role requires flexibility to meet both resident care and training needs across all shifts. Schedule includes a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to respond to the 24/7 needs of the community and support onboarding of new associates. Qualifications Successful completion of orientation and training or relevant CNA/STNA certification as required. Completion of any required state-approved medication training (if applicable). Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High emotional intelligence and professional demeanor. Physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing job duties. Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to coach and support others.
