Walmart's Transactional System provides core transactional capabilities to enable seamless omni-channel experiences. This team manages payment processing, promotional campaigns, fraud prevention, and compliance with financial regulations. We are a motivated, agile group of engineers solving high-impact problems. This role involves building next-generation multi-tenant, client-agnostic, highly scalable omni solutions. What You'll Do

Develop comprehensive business and technical solutions. Lead and participate in medium to large projects, translating requirements into technical solutions, developing code, conducting tests, and collaborating with teams to ensure timely delivery. Work in small groups of engineers, reviewing solutions, implementing architectural patterns, and performing code reviews. Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and document processes. Support business by addressing user questions and facilitating resolutions. Lead discovery phases for projects, collaborating with product, project, business, and UX teams. Apply up-to-date expertise to develop and improve action plans, providing guidance and aligning efforts with customer and business needs. Build relationships with stakeholders to support business solutions, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Model compliance with company policies, supporting ethics and integrity standards. Lead automation efforts, enhancing build processes, debugging issues, and creating reports and dashboards to track progress. What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 7+ years of programming experience in scalable web applications. 5+ years in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST, and related technologies; 3+ years with Cloud technologies. 4+ years developing high throughput systems. 2+ years integrating third-party solutions. The annual salary range for this position in Bellevue, WA, is $108,000 - $216,000, and in Sunnyvale, CA, is $117,000 - $234,000. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and stock options. Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience. Option 2: 5 years of experience in software engineering. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field plus 1 year of experience. Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA), assistive technologies, and inclusive digital experience practices is highly valued. Location
