ESR is looking for a culinary leader who knows how to lead passionate chefs, train rising stars, and bring both structure and creativity to our kitchens!

This is a key multi-unit leadership role at Ethan Stowell Restaurants — overseeing a diverse group of restaurants and cuisines. You’ll work closely with our chefs and ops leaders to drive consistency, quality, and guest happiness across the board.

What You’ll Own:

  • Lead a group of kitchens and culinary teams across multiple concepts and neighborhoods
  • Balance systems + soul: support menu execution, cost controls, quality, safety and sanitation standards, and team development, creativity and fun.
  • Coach chefs and sous chefs at all levels — from classically trained to up-and-coming
  • Create and support seasonal menu rollouts, tastings, and operational excellence
  • Build a strong culture: collaborative, respectful, organized, and energized
  • Champion sourcing, prep systems, cleanliness, and consistency
  • Collaborate with FOH + operations to deliver a dialed, guest-forward experience

What We're Looking For

  • Have 3–5 years of recent and relevant multi-unit leadership experience (ideally in both upscale and casual)
  • Know how to mentor and motivate chefs with different backgrounds
  • Are fluent in systems + creativity — think food cost control and menu development
  • Get excited by Italian food, but also know your way around a burger or a steakhouse menu
  • Communicate clearly and lead with care and accountability
  • Thrive in a team environment where people like to move fast, improve, and win together
  • Live in the Seattle area or are looking to relocate here
