The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to float between MedSurg/Tele and Stepdown units, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Shift Details: - Type: 12-hour night shifts- Duration: 36 hours/week, working three nights (7 PM - 7 AM)- Schedule: Includes rotating weekends and holidays Unit Details: MedSurg Units: - Float between 1W MedSurg (28 private beds) and 2E MedSurg (29 private beds)- Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical cases, orthopedics, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, end-of-life care, and chemotherapy - Must be comfortable managing both 'clean' and 'dirty' patient assignments simultaneously Stepdown Unit: - 3W Stepdown (28 private beds)- Patient population includes heavy cardiac cases, dysrhythmias, and post-ICU transfers - Ability to titrate drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin Requirements: - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start)- Experience: Previous experience in MedSurg and Stepdown preferred - Skills: Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips, excellent patient care skills Working Conditions: - Collaborative environment with a Clinical Manager available- Night shift resource nurse available to assist with a full patient assignment - Self-scheduling options provided as long as unit needs are met Why Join Us?
