Wage Range: $25 to $27 based on experience Shipping and Receiving Coordinator | JOB DESCRIPTION LodgeWorks is actively hiring for a Purchasing/Receiving at ARCHER HOTEL NAPA Archer Hotel Napa, a wine-country-chic boutique hotel in downtown Napa, welcomes with 183 luxe guest rooms and balcony-clad suites, an expansive sixth-floor rooftop with Sky & Vine Rooftop Bar, Whiskey Bar, Water Deck, Rooftop Spa and Fitness Studio, the celebrated first-floor Charlie Palmer Steak and more than 17,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. Job Overview The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator assists with coordinating receiving/shipping activities with transportation drivers for all food and beverage and hotel venues. Your Day-To-Day Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and quantity. Log deliveries into inventory systems and ensure proper documentation. Store goods in appropriate locations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in storage areas. Coordinate with departments to ensure timely distribution of supplies and products. Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling. Communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and internal departments regarding shipment issues or discrepancies. Schedule and coordinate timely waste removal with vendors and communicate with hotel staff. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts. Follow safety guidelines for handling, lifting, and storing goods. Maintain a clean and organized loading dock, both interior and exterior. Support the Engineering team with additional projects and tasks. Who You Are Must keep very strict confidentiality codes at all times. One-year previous hotel (or like) experience preferred, but not required. High school degree or equivalent required. Excellent written and verbal skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to remain calm and focused in a busy environment. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50-100 pounds on a consistent basis. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Must have good guest and team member relations skills.
