Special Procedures & Diagnostic Imaging Technologist
to join our Cath Lab team!
The Special Procedures and Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable and c-arm imaging equipment. Assists with diagnostic peripheral vascular (PV) and/or Pain Injection procedures to patients of all ages, under the supervision of department Radiologist. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level. Complies with and provides leadership in maintaining an environment that supports our philosophy and values.
HOURS: Full Time or .9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period. Days w/ 1 night of call per week and weekend call rotation.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of radiological standards and procedures normally acquired through completion of a diploma from an approved AMA school of radiological technology, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or other manner to meet requirements of the ARRT and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure. Minimum of two years' working full time in Diagnostic Imaging necessary to enhance and develop skills, with previous experience in Operating Room procedures preferred. Possesses State of Wisconsin Radiographer license. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire Employee Benefits Full benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.
